She's properly 電母, Diànmǔ, "Mother of Lightning," wife of Leigong, god of thunder. Right goddess, wrong name. Thanks to Peter at HMP for the catch, and we'll be using the proper name (電母, Diànmǔ) in the future! Back at the tail end of August, we introduced you to our newest vehicle - an HMP Lightning Mk II. It's a highway-capable scooter with an official top speed of 56 mph, a claimed city range of around 62 miles (at 30 mph), and a removable 3.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Since then, Nikki has been using it as her errand-runner, taken it on some longer-distance trips, and even uses it for the weekly shop. And now, 1-month later, she's managed to hit 500 miles in the saddle.
