They don't have to be perfect, but I try to do the best I can. Sometimes it's impossible to avoid buying from "a bad company" when they are the only source for something that is truly needed. (Or "sunk cost" - I'm not spending $800 to replace an appliance when it only needs a $20 part, even if the part is from a "bad" company, and I could get a whole new appliance from a "good" one. Sure, when it's actually time to replace the full appliance, I'll make sure to get one from a better company.)
