Bypass the setup / registration on a Nook Color tablet via Factory mode. This is useful because Barnes & Noble's certificates no longer work on these older devices, so normal setup is impossible anyways, and it is silly that B&N required an account to use the device in the first place.

Key verification prevents Apple from maliciously sending you compromised public keys when performing the initial key exchange in iMessage for end-to-end encryption.

They've been in the news again recently, because earlier this month Google announced support for passwordless authentication for Google accounts with Passkeys.
